Maheela Priyas Jagriti Mission (Regd) is a non- government, non- profit organization registered under Society Registration Act of XXI, 1860. The society was established in the year 2006 with a mission to enhance social & economical status of the weaker section of the society through its various development approaches. Maheela Priyas Jagriti Mission (Regd) aimed at helping marginalized and economically weaker sections. It is mainly interested in those welfare projects which empower the communities by giving those medical help. It primarily focuses on the welfare of poor diseased people of weaker section of the society.

By helping women acquire non-traditional livelihoods with dignity, we are ultimately developing a cadre of empowered women who become agents of change. These women carry values of inclusion, mutual respect and equality, and democratize the spaces in which they live, whether it’s their family or community.

To create a supportive environment for women to take on non-traditional livelihoods and live with dignity, we also engage with men and women in their communities through a range of community programmes.

To ensure the transformation we work towards extends beyond the empowered women and their communities, we advocate policymakers and other stakeholders to make non-traditional livelihood options with dignity universally accessible to women in India. We also advocate for the social concerns being considered in livelihood program’s for women.

Through our work we contribute to achieving the goal of economic and social equality for women in India.
